Pumps that are not optimally matched to the system consume too much energy. Thanks to the SES System Efficiency Service from KSB this doesn’t have to be the case. Comprehensive system analyses identify the potential savings which can be tapped within an installation.

With the SES System Efficiency Service for pumps and systems you can get a detailed insight of your pump installation and, based on this, optimise the energy efficiency of your pumps and systems. This saves energy costs and reduces CO2 emissions at the same time.

KSB system analyses for pumps and systems are primarily suitable for the following applications:

This is how the SES System Efficiency Service from KSB works:

A data logger takes measurements on site and records process variables and vibration levels to determine the operating behaviour. A mobile measurement device is used to measure the power in the control cabinet in order to calculate the pump’s efficiency, irrespective of the pump’s place of installation. In this way, KSB determines the actual load profile of the pumps and compares this with the design conditions. The aim is to identify potential savings and causes of any damage.

Optimum energy savings in pumps and systems

After measurement and analysis with the SES System Efficiency Service, pump operators are given a detailed overview of the current energy efficiency of their pumps and systems. On this basis, KSB makes recommendations for increasing energy efficiency. As well as ensuring the sustainable operation of pumps and valves, this also considerably reduces life cycle costs.
